Join Our Young Professionals Council

The Stepping Strong Young Professionals Council (SSYPC) is a network of passionate young leaders dedicated to advancing trauma research, education, and advocacy. By joining, you’ll connect with like-minded individuals, support life-saving innovations, and play a key role in shaping the future of trauma care.

What is the Stepping Strong Young Professionals Council?

The SSYPC unites early- and mid-career professionals from varied industries who are committed to raising awareness about the mission of The Gillian Reny Stepping Strong Center for Trauma Innovation. Members serve as trauma care ambassadors, engage in exclusive networking and educational events, and contribute to meaningful fundraising initiatives. Whether you’re looking to expand your network, make an impact, or take on a leadership role in trauma advocacy, the SSYPC offers a unique opportunity to get involved.

I ran the 2017 Boston Marathon as part of Team Stepping Strong. I was moved by Gillian’s story and the center’s mission, and knew I wanted to stay involved long after race day. I co-founded the Stepping Strong Young Professionals Council to create a community of people like me who are passionate about becoming ambassadors for trauma awareness and supporting the center’s work.
