Our Education & Advocacy Programs
Public Emergency Response Trainings
Minutes matter in an emergency. Through our Stepping Strong Emergency Response Trainings, our team empowers community members to respond to emergencies in the minutes before help arrives by teaching lifesaving skills to control traumatic blood loss, administer opioid overdose reversal medication, and prevent suicide.
Fellowship Program
Through the Stepping Strong Fellowship program, healthcare professionals are trained to become the next generation of medical leaders. The program offers educational and funding opportunities, allowing fellows to collaborate with established experts, deepen their understanding of traumatic injury, and apply their knowledge to better care for trauma patients around the world.
Advocacy Work
The Stepping Strong Center advocates for trauma survivors and injury prevention through various initiatives aimed at raising awareness, supporting policy change, and improving community safety. Initiatives include writing memos, testifying before legislative bodies, and engaging directly with policymakers to drive meaningful change.

Clinical and community education are essential in preventing injuries and improving trauma care. By empowering individuals with knowledge and amplifying their voices, the Stepping Strong Center creates a foundation for a future where individuals take control of their health, communities are more resilient, and health outcomes are improved for all.”
